We seem to have come back to some awesome storms of biblical proportions. I'm trying to write out invoices but the storms are too exiting. The power is going on and off as I type this, lucky I have a UPS protecting this Mac.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
for DAMAGING WIND, LARGE HAILSTONES and FLASH FLOODING
For people in the
NORTHERN RIVERS,
NORTHERN TABLELANDS and parts of the
MID NORTH COAST and
NORTH WEST SLOPES Forecast Districts.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large
hailstones, very heavy rainfall and flash flooding in the warning area
over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include
Lismore, Grafton, Armidale, Tenterfield, Maclean and Dorrigo. The storm
in the Lismore and Casino area has weakened in the last hour but still
has the potential to produce severe weather.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Unplug computers and appliances.
* Avoid using the phone during the storm.
* Stay indoors away from windows, and keep children and pets indoors as well.
* For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES (NSW and ACT) on 132 500.
The next warning is due to be issued by 6:20 pm.
